Petting Zoo

Fourteen-year-old Bende goes on his first hunt with his father, hoping to prove himself and make him proud. Surrounded by tougher men and more confident boys, he struggles to fit in while his father goes along with the group instead of standing by him. When Bende cannot bring himself to kill a deer, he feels ashamed while the others celebrate. Feeling alone and let down, he wanders into the forest and comes face to face with a wolf. The next day, determined to prove himself, Bende goes out on his own. But when he finally pulls the trigger, he must face the consequences of his choice and what it really means to grow up.
