Let's Pitch Some Shorts!

We are happy to share that our short film project Once-in-a-Lifetime by Bálint Erkel was selected among the 11 projects taking part in the 11th edition of Let's Pitch Some Shorts!, an international workshop and pitching forum held in Zagreb, Croatia.

Organized by the Creative Europe MEDIA Desks from across the region, the programme brings together emerging filmmakers to develop their projects through intensive workshops, mentoring and an international pitching forum.

Representing Non Lieu Film Productions, director Bálint Erkel and producer Evelyn Balogh spent four days working alongside filmmakers from across Europe under the guidance of acclaimed German producer Roshanak Behesht Nedjad

We are grateful to the organizers, mentors, and fellow participants for an inspiring week of collaboration and look forward to the next stage of bringing the film to life.

Once-in-a-Lifetime
directed by Bálint Erkel, was selected for the 19th edition of European Short Pitch, one of Europe's leading development programmes for emerging short film projects.

Prior to the Co-production Forum, Bálint Erkel participated in the programme's Development Workshop, where the project underwent script development, one-to-one mentoring and pitch preparation before its international presentation at Leiden Shorts.

Representing Non Lieu Film Productions, director Bálint Erkel and producers Evelyn Balogh and Botond Lelkes attended the on-site programme in the Netherlands. During the forum, the team presented the project in a public pitch and held a series of one-to-one meetings with European producers, sales agents, festival programmers, and distributors to discuss co-production opportunities and the project's international future.

Beyond pitching the project, European Short Pitch offered the opportunity to become part of a vibrant European community of emerging filmmakers. We return with new ideas, new collaborations, and fresh momentum as we continue developing Once-in-a-Lifetime.
