CSONGOR & TÜNDE

NoN Lieu is an important creative partner in the development of interdisciplinary theatre and film productions. For this project, we contributed to the development and realization of the visual elements for the stage production of Csongor and Tünde.

Production Description

In Csongor and Tünde, the magical stage poem by Mihály Vörösmarty, the protagonist Csongor searches for his path between wakefulness and dreams. What gives meaning to life? Where can true happiness be found? Driven by longing, Csongor embarks on a journey filled with challenges and trials as he seeks to reach Fairyland, where his beloved Tünde awaits him.

Vörösmarty unites two realms—heaven and earth—and presents the fulfilled love between beings from these different worlds as the ultimate expression of human happiness and the meaning of existence.
